Come out to the Spring Fling Vendor Fair from 9 am-3 pm this Saturday, April 14, 2012, where over twenty vendors will gather at the Steeple Chase Community Center located at 11250 Steepleway Blvd, Houston, TX. Come shop ‘til you drop and enjoy music provided by a DJ. You can also enter to win prizes from some of these vendors by purchasing raffle tickets. Drawings are set to take place every half hour of the event! Raffle tickets are also available in advance HERE. Tickets are only $5 for 6 tickets. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is near and dear to the heart of Spring Fling organizer, Nicki Whitworth, whose close friend has three children with Cystic Fibrosis. If you would like to know more about the Walker family, here is an article about them from TheLedger.com

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:
• clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
• obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
